Hello Chris
I'm mikei, I was reading your blog and wondered if you'd like to be my friend? I don't know why but I don't have many gay friends and thought I would start befriending gays. (Plus I enjoyed your blog) Soooo yeah.
P.s. I'm not a hermit that lives in a shell without seeing sun light; I have friends just not gay ones. :( weird?
And yes I'm a gay ^ _ ^

Hey Chris,

I really like your point about the boy scouts. I have a few queer friends whom grew up in the boy scouts one of which, because he had to keep being gay a secret, quit the organization that he loved. Contact me I would love to hear more about your coming out, aren't they the best stories :) (you can post or not post this whatever you prefer)

Hey Chris,

Hi am from Mauritius and recently came out to my parents and few friends. Here it is still a taboo to be gay, it has been a long way till i reached to that stage. Today am 31, all these years i have been living in fear what my parents, friends and society will say about me. It is very important that you accept yourself first of all to be enable others to accept you. I have got issues with my parents initially and i will not say that things have changed but i live my life the way i want. Anyways i was just reading your blog and i thought of sharing my views.

Hi Chris,
I came across your blog while searching for info on"Gay life in USA". I must say you have excellent expressions and articulations which are very well delivered in your blog.

I am a 26 y/o student from India aspiring for PhD from United States. One of the main reasons why I am looking fwd to pursuing a PhD in US is a perceived notion that in US, I can lead a stable gay life, unlike India. Would like to know how the US society sees same sex relationships, how easily people are able to come out of their shells and accept a gay life (instead of marriage) and how committed they are.
Warm regards
