First before I talk about Kobe, where have I been? I have been traveling for work to Connecticut the last several days and did not get around to posting when I was on the road.
Now for Kobe. You have probably seen the news by now that on Tuesday Kobe Bryant was caught on camera yelling Fucking Fag at the ref after getting a technical foul. The NBA has since fined Kobe $100,000 for the incident. Video is below.
I know this is a little out of date but I just found it. Imagine if the Bush administration were in Middle School.
I got a jury duty summons yesterday. Not too excited about it, but it is the punishment they give you in this country for being a voter. I could do what Jonathan Lovitz did and see what happens.
But I probably will not. Or more likely even if I do it will not work.
However, on an ironic note in Colorado Unemployment is apparently more important than Jury duty. Jury duty only pays $50 per day after the first 3 days that your employer pays you or $13000 a year. Unemployment pays more than that. No wonder everyone hates jury duty, we do not respect the citizens asked to do it.
What is up with people saying that so and so is gayer than you or you are not gay enough? What is acting gay anyway?
I am who I am, and I am going to act like I am going to act. If you do not think I act gay enough I don’t care. Who are you to say that watching basketball and football is not gay? Who are you to say that not liking Lady Gaga is not gay? Who are you to say not knowing fashion from the broad side of a barn is not gay?
Why is it that we as a society feel the need to judge someone on how gay they are? A few years ago you were either a femme or a butch. I am neither. Now we have gotten rid of those terms and it is just a question of how gay you are. I was once told that on the flaming spectrum I am barely a pilot light. Who cares? Why do we need to make these distinctions?
If I like guys I am gay. If I liked ladies I would be straight. It does not matter about everything else in my life or your life. It is a question of which gender turns you on, not how you act. So why do we have this insistence of determining who is gayer?

Wow. Today has been a long day. I spent most of the day doing yard work and cleaning out my Garage. Made way too many trips to Lowes and spent way too much money. But that is how it always goes in my house between April and May. Had a neighbor aerate my lawn for me saving me $30 over what the landscapers charge. So at least today was not a complete money sink. And it was beautiful coming in at 80 degrees today. Awfully nice for this early in April.
Now I spent the last 3.5 hours apparently working on my new project. And finally at 11:15 on a Saturday night it is ready. That also means I have no life… So what is this new project? As I am sure you are not reading in anxious anticipation or anything. Come on I have delusions of grandeur, but they are not that big.
The new project is TheBoycotters.com. I got tired of trying to remember every company I was boycotting because the information was spread across 100 different websites. So I have created a consolidated website listing boycotts. It is still in its infancy without a large amount of information on it, but over the coming weeks and months I will be adding quite a few boycotts to the site. Visit it and let me know what you think.
