Lessons Learned

I am currently undecided on what I think about the latest news on DADT. On the one hand I think, great DADT is going to be repealed. On the other, I ask why do we have to wait for some study. I do not care what people in the military think, the military is a breeding ground of intolerance. So while I make up my mind on DADT I thought I would share a few lessons I learned in the last couple days.

1) Riding my bicycle in hail is not fun.
2) Surprisingly, quarter inch hail does not hurt.
3) Cyclists measure their speed in Kilometers per hours instead of miles per hour because when they are having a bad day it makes them feel like they are going faster.
4) President Obama is a politician through and through and will try everything possible not to follow through on campaign promises.
5) John McCain is 100 times worse than President Obama.
